Our lecture this week is presented by the Boston University African American Studies Program, with support from the Boston University Center for the Humanities, and the Latin American Studies Program. Our speaker is Dr. Kia Caldwell, Associate Professor of African, African American, and Diaspora studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  Dr. Caldwell’s lecture is titled “The Alyne Case: An Intersectional Analysis of Gender, Race, and the Human Right to Health in Brazil.”
