State Arts Grants Winners Announced

The Massachusetts Cultural Council has announced the winners of its 2013 "Artist Fellowship" grants in crafts, dramatic writing, and sculpture and installation. All together $127,500 in funding was awarded to the individual artists and writers.

In crafts, Dale Broholm of Wellesley, Daniel Kornrumpf of Berkley, Jay Rogers of Cambridge, Nancy Selvage  of Weston, and Donna Veverka of Boston won $7,500 grants. And Angela Cunningham of Somerville, Kenji Nakayama of Boston, Mara Superior of Williamsburg, Roy Superior of Williamsburg and Stephen Whittlesey of West Barnstable won $500 crafts grants.

In dramatic writing, Benjamin Jolivet of Fall River, Taylor Mac of Southfield, Michael Mack of Cambridge and Monica Raymond of Cambridge won $7,500 grants. And Liz Duffy Adams of Greenfield, Sean Dorgan of Arlington, Steven J. Martin of Marstons Mills, Joyce Van Dyke of West Newton, and Vladimir Zelevinsky of Sharon won $500 dramatic writing grants.

In sculpture and installation, Amy Archambault of North Chelmsford, Caitlin Berrigan of Boston, Linda Bond of Weston, Harriet Diamond of Northampton, Rosalyn Driscoll of Sarah Bliss of Haydenville and Montague, J. Georgie Friedman of Jamaica Plain, and Beth D. Galston of Carlisle won $7,500 grants.  And Natalie Andrew of Cambridge, Laura Baring-Gould of Somerville, Kelly Goff of Norwood, Wendy Jacob of Cambridge and Samuel Tager of Cambridge won $500 grants for sculpture and installation.
