Walsh, Volunteers Conduct Boston's Annual Homeless Census

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and 300 volunteers took the streets Wednesday night to tally up the city's homeless population for the annual city homeless census.

It's been a very tough winter for the homeless, and last year's census found more than 7,200 homeless people in Boston.

Walsh joined Morning Edition to talk about how the census went.
