It's a big night for 109 Boston Public Schools seniors who'll graduate from the Boston Community Leadership Academy in Hyde Park.

And it's an especially big night for the class valedictorian.

He's 17-year old Bilal Lafta. Bilal was born in Baghdad. When he was 7, he and his family fled the Iraq war. His mother, brother and sister ended up in one refugee camp. Bilal and his father had to go to another.
