London’s Veronica Falls brings its surfy bubble gum lullaby pop to Great Scott in Boston on Saturday, March 9. “I’ve got a bad feeling. It’s not going away," the band so sweetly crooned in harmonies on the track “Bad Feeling” from their 2011 self-titled, goth pop debut album.

Now UK singer and guitarist Roxanne Clifford, drummer Patrick Doyle, guitarist James Hoare and bassist Marion Herbain are touring behind their brand new album “Waiting for Something to Happen," which features songs like “Teenage” that are the kind of rocking, kinetic ditties that make you smile even as their undertones break your heart.

“I’d say the word ‘wistful’ really describes the mood of the album,” Clifford has said. “We chose the album title because to me it captures what people our age are all going through.”
