Portraits Of Boston: Teaching Math And Science

self-confidence 1280

“I’m a teacher. I teach math and science, and I love bringing kids from the point where they think they can’t do something to the point where they see that they actually can do it. That moment of self realization and gaining self confidence is my favorite part of what I do.

"I think it’s especially important when it comes to math because so many people hate it and see it as this scary, extremely difficult thing that they can never do. I love showing them that it’s not really all that difficult and could even be fun.”
