Portraits Of Boston: 'I Just Love Life'

to-be-enjoyed

“The love of children is a beautiful thing.”

“Do you have children?”

“Yes, both biological and non-biological.”

“And you love them equally?”

“Yes, absolutely! And I always say that if you’re a man, unless you’ve had DNA testing done, you can never be 100 percent sure.”

“I like your eye wear.”

“I’m legally blind. I’m blind, I’ve had four heart attacks, 18 surgeries, and I just love life. I love every minute of it!”

“That’s great to hear. You’re not complaining despite your health problems.”

“You can complain, but it’s not going to help you. Being miserable is not going to do you any good. Life is to be enjoyed.”
