Portraits Of Boston: 'It's Santa!'

“Everyone keeps telling me I should be Santa. I guess I have all the prerequisites. Around Christmas time I put on a Santa hat, and as I’m walking down the street, the kids start screaming, ‘Daddy, look! It’s Santa! Let’s go talk to him!’

But I’m just an old hippie. My email is ‘hippie1425.’ Fourteen is ‘N’ and twenty-five is ‘Y.’ It stands for Neil Young. I’ve seen him 24 times. He is my hero. Great, great music. I don’t like today’s music. I like the ‘60s: Neil Young, The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Stones.”
