“I like friendships with people who personify the qualities I admire and act in a way that I would like to emulate. She finds joy in a lot of experiences — in a very unaffected way. She doesn’t do it to manipulate people somehow or to gain something from it. She is just genuinely happy. On the other hand, I often tend to put myself second.

Being around people who do what makes them happy reminds me that I have to do the same.”
