"Black Mass," the Massachusetts-filmed biopic about gangster James "Whitey" Bulger, released its first trailer on Thursday.
The movie stars Johnny Depp as the South Boston mobster.
The film's title comes from the 2000 book about Bulger's life and criminal history, authored by Dick Lehr and Gerard O’Neill.
The now-85-year-old Bulger was convicted in 2013 on racketeering charges, and he's serving life in prison. (See our special Bulger section.)
The movie "Black Mass" is set to come out this summer.
