Hollywood came to Boston Wednesday night for the local premiere of the movie, "Patriots Day," at the Wang Theatre. The film depicts the events surrounding the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings and the later shootout on the streets of Watertown.

WBUR's Bruce Gellerman was on the scene minutes after the bombings and the later shootout. On Wednesday night, he took in the Hollywood depiction.

Correction: An earlier version of this story indicated the Boston screening was the film's world premiere. We regret the error.
