Bella Luna & The Milky Way has been a JP staple for years and this weekend the restaurant is having a groovy daytime holiday party. There’s no cover, themed cocktails will be flowing and DJ Saucy Lady will spin some funky tunes.

If you’re as excited as I am for Columbia Pictures’ “Little Women” release on Christmas, you’ll want to stop in Concord this weekend for their lineup of events. You can take a walking tour of Orchard House, where Louisa May Alcott called home and wrote the famous novel.

The Christmas Revels
Harvard’s Sanders Theatre, Cambridge

Through Dec. 29

“The Christmas Revels” is here for its 49th year of joyful, theatrical magic. This year’s show revolves around a radio station in the 1930s that explores the roots of American music. Be prepared to go on a musical journey across the country, from Appalachian bluegrass to California and through the South.


Winterlights
Stockbridge, North Andover, Canton

Through Jan. 4

Three of the Trustees of Reservations properties are decked out in twinkling lights for the holidays: Naumkeag in Stockbridge, The Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover, and the Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate in Canton. Plus there are crafts and scavenger hunts for the kids.
