Latinos account for virtually all of the population growth in Boston in the past 35 years.

That's one finding of a new report being released Wednesday morning by the Boston Foundation titled "Powering Greater Boston's Economy."

It shows that Latinos make up 20 percent of the Boston population and own 10 percent of all private businesses in the city. Luc Schuster, one of the report's co-authors, says Latinos have been crucial to the city's recent transformation.

This segment aired on June 7, 2017.
