Ever heard the expression, “You can’t judge a book by its cover”?

It can be tempting to form an opinion about something based on how it looks. But more often than not, it’s what’s inside that counts.

And in our story, an entire town of people learn that lesson… in a most delicious way!

This week's tale is called “The Unwelcome Guest.” You’ll find versions of this tale in many countries. Ours is especially inspired by Turkish and Middle Eastern stories featuring the wise trickster Nasruddin. (You can enjoy another Nasruddin adventure in our episode, “The Fire Within”!)
