Many of the splashiest advances in biomedical technology in this past year have centered around genetics — gene editing, gene therapy and gene testing all made news in Boston, a biomedical capital of the world.

WBUR health and science reporter Carey Goldberg joined WBUR's Morning Edition host Bob Oakes to walk us through the genetic advances of 2019.
