Vaccination efforts are chugging along, and more and more adults are getting their shots every day. But in order for us to get to full herd immunity, children also need to get vaccinated. There’s one hitch though — the vaccine isn’t authorized for kids younger than 16 or 18 years old. That’s why some youngins are rolling up their sleeves to test the safety of the Moderna vaccine for children. WBUR reporter Paris Alston talks with GBH reporter Liz Neisloss, who caught up with a couple of these young volunteers.

This segment aired on March 8, 2021.
