Consider This: Grieving The Death Of Trans Activist Jahaira DeAlto

Boston's LGBTQ community is mourning the death of trans woman and advocate Jahaira DeAlto, who was fatally stabbed in Dorchester last weekend along with a younger woman named Fatima Yaseen.

DeAlto’s death joins a growing list of trans or gender non-conforming people known to have been killed around the country this year, according to the nonprofit Human Rights Campaign.
