Consider This: Trash is a burning question with mixed answers in some Mass. towns

When we put our trash on the curb in Massachusetts, most of it winds up in one of thee state's seven incinerators. Collectively, they burn more than half the garbage in the state.

Some activists see incinerators as polluters and want them closed down, but in the communities where these incinerators operate, feelings are more complicated.
