The switch to electric vehicles is speeding up.

Today, there are around 10-million battery powered vehicles on the road worldwide. By the end of the decade, there could be nearly a quarter billion.

For many buyers, cost is still a barrier, and lithium-ion batteries remain the most expensive part of any EV.
