Boston cleared an encampment near Massachusetts Ave. and Melnea Cass Blvd. in January, but many people still linger there.

The so-called Mass. & Cass area has long been considered ground zero for the region’s opioid crisis, and as spring approaches, there are concerns that people might return to living on the streets there.
