The Fight Over A Maine Power Transmission Line Could Hit The Ballots

There are plans for a power transmission line to connect hydroelectric plants in Canada with Massachusetts to bring clean energy to the state.

But opponents in Maine say the line would  cut through forests in the western part of the state that should be preserved. Now, they have enough support to get the issue on the November ballot in the state.
