WBUR's Edify wants to go beyond the usual talking points about charter schools. As November nears, with voters deciding whether to lift the cap on Massachusetts charter schools, we're looking for fresh perspectives, and we'd like your help.

We've created an online survey for parents and teachers in all kinds of elementary and secondary schools in Greater Boston — charter schools, district schools, private, parochial, you name it. We'd like to know about your experiences.

This isn't a poll or an opinion survey; it's a tool for you to engage with WBUR to tell us what you know in two minutes! It's a simple, easy-to-navigate form, and we'll use what you tell us to inform our reporting this fall. We won't quote you unless you give us permission. What we will do, we hope, is find out things that you know and we don't, and find new territory to explore.

For now, we're just asking parents and teachers to weigh in. So if you're a parent or teacher from pre-K through high school, please proceed to the form below. The deadline for responding is Sept. 15, 2016.
