This photo, from the front page of Monday's New York Times, shows soldiers searching for troops after a suicide attack destroyed a NATO-Afghan outpost in Kandahar Province.

The attack left six Americans dead, and more than a dozen American and Afghan troops wounded.  New York Times photographer Tyler Hicks was there to capture the frantic aftermath and he joins us from Kandahar City to describe what he saw.

This segment aired on December 13, 2010.
