'Furkids' Raise Questions About Line Between Pets And Children

Dolly is a chihuahua whose so-called "pet parent," veterinary behaviorist Dr. Jacqui Neilson, dressed her up as a bumblebee for Halloween and has taken her to visit Santa at the mall.

Dr. Neilson doesn't think having a "furkid," or a pet that's treated as a child, is a problem, but she says that some people cross a line. We speak with Dr. Neilson, who treats animals at the Animal Behavior Clinic in Portland, Ore.
