Right now, only people who die in hospitals can donate their organs. But in a first-of-its-kind program that could become a model for the nation, the city of New York has begun an experiment to collect organs from donors who die at home.
We talk about the mechanics and the ethics of the new, so-called "Organ Preservation Unit" with Dr. Lewis Goldfrank, director of emergency services at Bellevue Hospital Center.

This segment aired on December 15, 2010.
