Hundreds of thousands of Egyptians demonstrated today for an end to President Hosni Mubarek's 30-year rule.

There have also been protests in Jordan, and in response, today Jordan's King Abdullah II, fired his entire government and brought in a former prime minister to form a new one. The BBC's Middle East editor Magdi Abdelhadi joins us from Cairo with an update.
