The ACLU and Planned Parenthood are promising to sue to stop new legislation in South Dakota from taking effect. Republican Gov. Dennis Daugaard signed the bill into law yesterday that would require all women seeking an abortion to wait 72 hours and get counseling at an anti-abortion help center.

The reproductive research group the Guttmacher Institute calls it the most restrictive abortion law in the country. We speak with Megan Luther, reporter for the Argus Leader in South Dakota.

This segment aired on March 23, 2011.
