Coalition Air Strikes Continue In Libya

A top African Union official on Friday called for a transition period in Libya that would lead to democratic elections.  It was the first statement by the AU, who had opposed foreign intervention in Libya, and served as a rare rebuke to Col. Moammar Gadhafi.

Meantime, France declared Libya's airspace "under control" after NATO agreed to take command of the no fly zone in a compromise that appeared to set up dual command centers and possibly new confusion. Coalition warplanes also struck Gadhafi's forces outside the strategic eastern gateway city of Ajdabiya. Kevin Connolly the BBC brings us the latest.
