The space shuttle Endeavour is expected to launch on its final mission in coming days, after the take-off was delayed Friday for technical reasons.

On board will be Mark Kelly, this mission's commander and five other astronauts. Kelly's wife, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, will be watching the lift-off as will President Obama and his family.

When Endeavour returns to Earth, it will be going on display at the California Science Center in Los Angeles, Calif. We speak with Ken Cockrell about the end of the shuttle program. Cockrell has flown five shuttle missions and describes what it's like to be on board.

This segment aired on April 29, 2011.
