Residents in the South affected by last month's historic tornadoes are out again today salvaging what they can of their belongings after a spell of rain and cold.

The bad weather has not kept work crews and volunteers from their tasks — power has been restored to most parts of Alabama today and most children are back in school. We have an update from Alabama with Andrew Yeager, reporter for WBHM 90.3 FM in Birmingham, Alabama.
