The French Open kicks off Sunday. And while Spain's Rafael Nadal usually owns the red clay, Serbia's Novak Djokovic has other plans this year, while Switzerland's Roger Federer is falling further off the map.

Meanwhile, the women's side is in the midst of a Lord of the Flies moment, with no one clearly dominating.

And, the familiar question again, where are all the Americans? We talk tennis with Jon Wertheim, senior writer for Sports Illustrated, he's also author of Scorecasting and you can find him on Twitter, @jon_wertheim.

This segment aired on May 20, 2011.
