Texting while walking is causing pedestrians to slam into everything from cars to telephone poles, but it's also sending people to the hospital and worse.
Researchers at Ohio State University found that around 1,000 people across the country went to emergency rooms with injuries sustained texting while walking, and in 2008 a Florida teenager was hit by a car while texting and died. We speak with the Boston Globe's Beth Teitell about how some states across the country are trying to address this.
