Honoring A Ford Favorite With A 'Pinto Stampede'
The Ford Pinto earned a bad reputation in the 70s, because its fuel tank tended to catch on fire in collisions, but the car still has its fervent fans.
About a dozen of them will drive their Pintos from Colorado to Pennsylvania, starting this Sunday, to honor the car's 40th anniversary. The event is called The Pinto Stampede, and it's a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project. One of the drivers is Norm Bagi. He joins us from Denver to talk about the car Pinto fans call "the little pony."
