Dispatches From The U.S. Department Of Veterans Affairs

Alex Horton's blog, "Army of Dude" was a must-read for other soldiers and vets during the war in Iraq. When he came home from his 15-month deployment, Horton kept blogging, and many of his posts expressed his frustration with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Now the VA has hired Horton as part of the Department's new media outreach program to vets and Horton is one of the main contributors to the department's blog, "Vantage Point."
