We look at the news in food, from the E. Coli outbreak in Europe that's killed at least 22 and sickened more than 2,000, to the USDA's new food guide that replaces the food pyramid with a plate icon.

Marion Nestle said the new guide does not accurately reflect U.S. farm policy.

"Here is one branch of the Department of Agriculture telling people to have half their plate with fruits and vegetables when subsidies go 99 percent to other food," Nestle told Here & Now's Robin Young.

Nestle wants to see U.S. agricultural policy come in line with nutrition policy.
