Newly-Elected Republican Legislatures Chip Away At Abortion Rights

Some newly-elected Republican legislatures are escalating efforts to curb abortion services.
Several states now ban abortions after 20 weeks, citing "fetal pain," and other states now require women to view a sonogram of the fetus before they can undergo the procedure.
Many of these new laws are being challenged in the courts but have not yet reached the Supreme Court. Observers say some of the cases could actually challenge Roe vs. Wade.
