President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner are negotiating a deal with around $3-trillion in savings over the next decade, but no apparent provisions to raise taxes.

But, Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) told the Washington Post that when "we heard these reports of... mega-trillion-dollar cuts with no revenues, it was like Mount Vesuvius... Many of us were Volcanic."
