Report: Schools On Military Bases In Poor Condition

The U.S. government pledges to serve the needs of the children of its troops on active duty. But even the Department of Defense acknowledges a high percentage of the schools military children attend on U.S. bases are in poor or failing condition.

About 150,000 children attend these schools on military bases around the world. And now that the Pentagon faces major cuts as a result of the debt ceiling deal, money previously allocated to repair or rebuild many of the schools may not be there.
