A Midlife Crisis Prompts Mission To Reunite The Kinks
ResumeWhat motivates a man to go on a mission? How about a mid-life crisis and the threat of losing your job.
That's what was staring down journalist Geoff Edgers a few years back. Edgers, approaching 40, faced the very real possibility of being laid off from the financially-troubled Boston Globe. So, he did what any self-respecting music fan would do. He set out to reunite one of his all-time favorite bands: The Kinks.
Edgers documents his journey in the film, “Do It Again," which premieres on PBS on Thursday.
