Earlier this week, Attorney General Eric Holder said the Obama administration is still determined to close the US prison at Guantanamo Bay Cub before next year's election, despite opposition from the president's opponents. So far though, there doesn't seem to be a plan to close the prison and the president's bid to try five 9/11 suspects in the US was rejected.

An award-winning book released this year, "Guantanamo: If The Light Goes Out" takes us inside the prison, but also shows us the homes of former detainees. We spoke to the author, Edmund Clark, and are revisiting that conversation today.

Guest:

  • Edmund Clark, British photojournalist recently won the Hood Medal for public service photography from the Royal Photographic Society.
