Fighting Continues As American Lawmakers Visit Libya
ResumeFour Republican senators are in Libya to meet with the nation's new rulers, the highest-profile American delegation to visit the country since the ouster of longtime leader Moammar Gadhafi.
The four lawmakers: John McCain of Arizona, Mark Kirk of Illinois, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Marco Rubio of Florida, met with the head of the National Transitional Council, which is now governing Libya after Gadhafi was ousted. Meantime, the fighting continues in Sirte, Gadhafi's hometown.
