Revisiting A Conversation With Author Bill Bryson
PlayBooks such as "A Walk In the Woods," In A Sunburned Country," and "A Short History of Nearly Everything" have given bestselling author Bill Bryson a reputation for quirky, engaging writing and exhaustive research.
Bryson combines all of these qualities in his book, "At Home" — which will be released in paperback this week. "At Home" takes Bryson's current residence, a Victorian parsonage in Norfolk, England, as a starting point for an examination of 19th century domestic life. Here and Now producer Emiko Tamagawa spoke with Bill Bryson at last year's Boston Book Fair.
