The socialist government that has been in power for the last eight years in Spain could be kicked to the curb on Sunday. The country's terrible economic situation overshadows every other election issue and the opposition Conservative Popular Party is expected to coast to victory in the polls when the election is held.
The BBC's Piers Scholfield traveled to Granada to gauge the effects of the crisis on the local tourism industry.
