Russians are voting in parliamentary elections on Sunday — elections already denounced by opponents of the ruling United Russia party as neither free nor fair. Seven parties are taking part - but what are the key issues for the voters? The BBC's Steve Rosenberg traveled to the town of Tambov, 500km from Moscow - it is known as the "Black Heart of Russia" because of its rich soil and farmland.

This program aired on December 2, 2011.
