The campaign for U.S. Senate between sitting Senator Scott Brown and likely Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts is shaping up to be a barn-burner by the fall. But what if the two candidates called a truce?

Brown and Warren exchanged letters, they met this weekend and now advisers say the campaigns plan to meet to hammer out an agreement that would prevent outside groups from airing new negative ads.
