New polls out today show Mitt Romney leading the pack of presidential contenders in Wisconsin by 7 points and way ahead in Maryland ahead of Tuesday's primaries.

In Wisconsin the primary is taking place against a backdrop of state politics. Just this past Friday opponents of anti-union governor, Scott Walker, got the go-ahead for a recall election scheduled for June 5.
