Debut Novel 'Starboard Sea' Is Making Waves

On the New York Times list of notable books of 2012 is Amber Dermont's debut novel "The Starboard Sea," which comes out in paperback this week.
The novel is set at a prep school for well-to-do but often troubled teenagers.
It mines Dermont's experiences attending and teaching at prep schools, as well as her love of sailing and the sea.
We spoke to Amber Dermont in April and today we revisit that conversation.
