We found out last night that cats and lilies should never cross paths.

In fact, even brushing up against an Easter lilly's dust can make a cat sick — and one of my guys was happily chewing on one.

Thankfully, the MSPCA has hot lines, and Boston has the terrific all-night Angell Animal Medical Center, where the two cats are currently inmates — I mean guests.

Fingers crossed. And from now on, we're sticking with roses.

This segment aired on August 6, 2013.
