Resume

As recently as the 1990s, breast cancer patients who'd just had surgery were told to limit most exercise. That's not the case anymore.

To help cancer patients and survivors get moving, a nonprofit called Moving For Life has created a new dance exercise program, designed by an exercise physiologist specifically for women being treated for breast cancer.

Moving for Life's new DVD is "Dance To Recovery."

Guests

  • Allison Stern Rosen, breast cancer survivor and co-founder of "Moving for Life."
  • Martha Eddy, exercise physiologist who designed the exercises in "Dance to Recovery."

This segment aired on September 16, 2013.
