Delayed September Jobs Report Finally Out
ResumeThe September jobs numbers are out and employers added 148,000 jobs. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate ticked down to 7.2 percent from 7.3 in August.
The monthly report that's usually released on the first Friday of the month was delayed because of the partial government shutdown.
NPR's Marilyn Geewax joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss the numbers.
